PREVENTS STRESS CAUSED BY COLD TEMPERATURE (FROST) AND HIGH SUMMER TEMPERATURES

SAVE CROP is an innovative product from FERTENIA research consisting of natural, organic and mineral substances. Applied by foliar application, it can increase the plants' resistance to sudden drops in temperature (frost), and to excessive summer heat that causes water loss and dehydration in the epigean parts of the plant (summer evapotranspiration).

SAVE CROP acts on the one hand by increasing the concentration of certain solutes (proline, betaines and polysaccharides) in the plant with a recognized anti-stress action, and on the other hand by forming a colorless, odorless, flexible and elastic gas-permeable (antiperspirant) film that significantly reduces water loss through the leaves. SAVE CROP also contains plant extracts rich in natural terpenes (terpinolene, D-limonene, alpha and gamma terpinene...) and the disaccharide TREHALOSE, an "osmoprotective" sugar.
TREHALOSE plays an important role in giving plants the ability to survive under extreme conditions of dehydration. It is also able to deform the structure of the water, avoiding the formation of ice and allowing the plants to resist sudden changes in temperature for longer, thanks also to the presence of specific CRYOPROTECTORS, safeguarding the vitality of the plant tissues and ultimately the production.

SAVE CROP has a chemical and mechanical protective action on leaves, flowers, shoots and young plants that lasts approximately 10-15 days; this period varies depending on the climatic conditions (rainfall, relative humidity) of the growth of the treated part, and the differentiation of new vegetation.

DOSES AND METHODS OF USE

N.B. - On leafy and cut vegetables, reduce the dosage (0.3-0.5 L/hl) during the summer period in greenhouses.

WARNINGS SAVE CROP should be used as a preventative measure. ÈIt is important that the solution perfectly covers the entire affected surface at least 24 hours before the frost, since the untreated parts will still be exposed to weather damage. Rainfall immediately after treatment accelerates the washing and degradation process of the product and reduces its effectiveness. It is recommended to carry out applications at regular intervals (depending on the type of crop), to also cover the new vegetation well. Al To prevent damage from FROST, it is recommended to combine SAVE CROP with ZEOLITE FERTENIA which, thanks to its particular constituents based on chabasite zeolites, reduces the intensity of the temperature range helping to maintain almost constant humidity and temperature conditions.
