POTENTIATOR OF THE EFFECT OF PLANT PROTECTION - NATURAL REPELLENT

Natural Wax^® is an innovative, non-toxic, biodegradable product of Fertenia research, made from a selected mixture of plant extracts (Fern, Nettle, Horse chestnut, Citrus extract) and natural waxes. 
These constituents have a strong surfactant-surface activating activity, capable of lowering the surface tension of liquids and improving the penetration and effectiveness of foliar and plant protection treatments. 
This is especially important for smooth-leaved species such as leafy and cut vegetables (IV Range), citrus, olive, vine, pome and stone fruit, persimmon, onion, pepper, ficus, banana, etc. In most cases, animal pests cause significant damage to agricultural crops both in terms of production and aesthetics (production of honeydew, fumigation, etc.).

The production of honeydew is generally due to the presence of insects such as aphids, scale insects, leaf miners, psyllids, etc., whose sugar-rich excrement soils the vegetation. whose sugar-rich excrement soils the vegetation, damaging the leaves and forming a film that reduces gas exchange. In addition, microscopic saprophytic fungi (smut) usually grow on the honeydew, creating a dark patina that hinders photosynthesis and aggravates the already precarious gas exchange.

Natural Wax^® is a blend of several constituents with the ability to limit the formation of resistant strains (Feng & Isman, 1995*), it has no negative activity on Phytoseidae and also repels some harmful phytophagous insects: mites, eriophids, thrips, scale insects on citrus and fruit trees in general

The use of Natural Wax^® also leads to stronger leaf blades, shiny fruit, natural repellence to harmful pests and increased tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses. It is therefore an excellent "adjuvant" when used in combination with plant protection products distributed by foliar spraying to increase their effectiveness.
