With a process innovation in the production of EDDHA Iron chelates, Fertenia introduces at Macfrut its new product FERLAND®,the first Chelated Iron deriving from the exclusive closed-circuit ECO-Iron® production process, without any final processing residue.
The production tests, the introduction of high purity raw materials, without phytotoxic substances such as chlorides during the synthesis phase and the innovative drying system, have determined a tangible improvement in the quality and agronomic effectiveness of the product compared to commercial standards.
So, the goal was achieved for Fertenia: Environmental sustainability and improved product quality. For this reason, the Commission set up to assign the Macfrut Innovation Award 2016, consistently with the evaluation criteria based on the analysis of Innovation, Environmental Sustainability, Economic and Product quality improvement, has decided to reward this new production technology of Fertenia with the silver medal, in the plant protection product AND FERTILIZERS categories.

THE PRODUCTS – OPTIMAL ISOMERIC BALANCE orto-orto/orto-para
Fe-EDDHA (orto-orto form)
Due to its chemical bonds (6) the iron ion is very stable, highly soluble in soils with high persistence over time and maintenance of green crops. High recharging capacity capable of making iron and other trace elements (Mn, Zn, etc.) present in the soil in insoluble form bioavailable.
Fe-EDDHA (orto-para form)
The ortho-para (o-p) formulation tends to release the iron ion quickly and quickly available to plants due to its (5) chemical bonds, maintaining good stability in the soil. Ultimately, by virtue of the different percentages of the isomeric (o-o) (o-p) forms of our various formulations, it is possible to use the one most suitable for the type of soil (pH) and crop.
Characteristics: High purity of raw materials, high stability of the microelement, absence of phytotoxic substances, environmental and food safety, greater stability of the chelated fractions (pH range 3.5-12).
